Minister of Defense of America called for unity of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council countries, Iran is a common threat against what he calls the will.

According to news agency Mehr USA Today, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states urged to unite against what they called the Iranian threat despite the controversy regarding the Muslim Brotherhood.

Chuck Hagel told a meeting of defense ministers of the Persian Gulf that regional security threats need to respond collectively. It is the policy of regional threats, including threats against Iran, is in action.

American Defense Minister also said that the military cooperation between the countries of the Persian Gulf is not only joint military action, but also opposition extremists and other challenges as needed.

His recommendations include strengthening the territory of the Gulf defense, naval and joint electronic defense cooperation between Washington and the Gulf countries.

Hagel announced his support for a diplomatic solution to the confrontation over Iran’s nuclear program.
